The Busy Bloom Co. is a husband-and-wife-owned floral and creative experience shop located at 22 S. Front Street in Downtown Wilmington. Founded in 2024 by Amanda and Walter Adkins, we started with a small dream and have grown into a full-service floral business specializing in everyday flowers, weddings and events, workshops, creative experiences, and curated gifts.
We believe flowers are more than something you buy for a special occasion—they’re a way to celebrate, connect, create, and bring a little more joy into everyday life. Our goal is to make floral design approachable and fun for everyone, whether you’re picking up a bouquet, building your own arrangement, planning a wedding, or gathering with friends for a workshop.
Moving to Front Street was an intentional step toward becoming more connected to Downtown Wilmington. We’re excited to be part of the energy, creativity, and community that makes downtown special, and we look forward to collaborating with fellow local businesses, welcoming visitors, and helping make Downtown Wilmington a place people want to shop, gather, and experience.
